Full 2D animation

I think what would be great is if other shows tried the full-2D gimmick, a la Family Guy. Can you imagine Fairly Oddparents in full 2-D? Yeah, the writing on the show's trash, but think what Cosmo and Wanda would look like decked out in Disney dust! The Simpsons would be good candidates too...although their character designs are so much better than Family Guys' that a Disneyfied version probably wouldn't enhance them much. But the fluid graceful movement could be dazzling. And Chowder...and Futurama (been catching the reruns on Comedy Central, and falling in love with the show all over again), and even Flapjack (god, that show is so ugly a good dose of Disney wouldn't hurt). It'd be great if the gimmick spawned on Family Guy became a fad, and spread all over the TV Tooniverse...minus the stupid Walt-was-an-anti-Semite joke, of course.

I am for one excited about Disney's Princess and the frog, although it does kinda look like it has a more cartoon feel then a Disney feel to it. I do admit that 3-D animated films are really getting annoying now, but Astro Boy looks promising to me for some reason.

But the thing is that i really dislike about 3-D animated films now, is that only that they are overrated{Pixar and dreamworks are good exmaples}. But they also change things on the point of view of the project. And not only that causing people who want to make 2-D movies get slapped in the face with this. "People want to see 3-D animation, there is no marketing for 2-D".

It's giving Don Bluth, Ralph Bakshi, and Danny antonucci a hard time to find work. Mainly because I heard these 3 guys are trying to make movies for the cinemas.
