And they are freaking awsome. I went out to my local dealer today as they had demo rides of the '11 models. I wanted to ride the RG ultra but they didnt have one as they told me everyone they got in sold so quick. They did have a RG custom on hand so I took it. I really got to stay off the freaking demo rides as thats how I traded my hertiage for the EG standard. Now I want one of those fugly sharknose that I never said I would have.
 
So what is the seat of the pants difference from bat wing to fugly shark nose. I actually like the looks of some of the shark nose but have never ridden one. I can not afford a change right now so I try not to ride too many other rides. Stay away from test ride days at dealers they can cost you money.
 
The open house is coming up in a few weeks at the Tomahawk, WI plant.
They have demo rides down at the park. A group of us do the demos for a couple of hours while the wives shop.
We have a blast. It's a great way to check out the bikes and not piss off our local dealer.
 
Realllllly wish people would stay away from the ugly Road Glides.
I felt "special" for about 5 minutes until the secret got out...

Pretty soon I'm going to have trouble finding my bike in the parking lot!

...it'd be the Scarlet Red Road Glide with that 2 into 1 exhaust, paint the inner fairing and put in titanium SE gauges...tell me that wouldn't be a bad-ass ride!
 
The more this rumor gets spread around, the more fuglies will be
on the roads....which in turn makes it much more difficult to
find mine in a parking lot full of bikes.
