I have i 1994 Ford Ranger, and the fuel sender unit has gone bad. I was wondering if i could use a sender unit from a mid 80's to late eightys ranger? Thanks a lot for any help?
I would only consider buying a new unit. If new then get the correct year to start with. Buying a used fuel tank unit is just asking to repeat that job shortly. And yes, Lifting the bed is much easier than dropping the tank.
