Jamie...........I see from your site that the end cap is "optional" for the new power tube muffler coming out. How does the end cap mount to the muffler? If I dont buy the end cap will there be exposed holes in the end of the muffler where the end cap is supposed to mount?

The optional endcaps will be cnc machined 6061 billet and mount to the interior of the Jackpot muffler body with 2 internal setscrews. This provides a clean appearance and requires no holes as there will be no external fasteners.

Here is a dyno chart for the 2010 Touring bike with the Stage 1 air cleaner, Dynojet PC-V and Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers. These items are now in stock and shipping.

Could I expect these numbers on my 09' with your package. (that's on the way) I noticed the 10' pictured has duals on it, Is that your header. I would imagine so as the 10' is a single side exhaust. Ps That is pretty close to the 09' chart you show on your site

We are getting very comparable #'s on the 2009 and 2010 bikes, generally within 1 Hp between the 2 bikes. The chart posted today is from our 2010 bike with a stock 2010 2/1/2 headpipe, Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers, Stage 1 air cleaner and the Dynojet PC-V. For reference we have installed and tested over 20 exhausts on our 2010 bike. Just wait until you see the charts with the Jackpot 2/1/2 Headpipe.

Nice numbers Jamie.

In your 1st post you mentioned the heat at the headpipe, have you been able to bring that heat down any, say to 09 model levels or lower?

With the changes in exhaust, AC and A/F how important does plug selection become or is it a non issue and just stick with what H-D says to use in the stock bikes?

Thank you.

On the 2010 bike because the catalyst in the collector has an operating temp of 900-1400F there is no way to make the pipe run as cool as the 09 and I do not recommend using insulation or heat wrap around the collector as this can overheat the catalyst which needs to dissipate heat. Changing the mufflers, Air cleaner, and EFI tuning certainly help this and generally bring temps to a much more reasonable range. For spark plugs I recommend the stock plugs.
