I do plan on offering a black option for the Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers but cannot estimate a specific date. This has been something we have been working on for some time but as of yet I have not been satisified with any of the companies and coatings we have tested. This can be a difficult process to say the least, and we have seen some serious issues with coated mufflers including the mufflers offered by some of the other brands we sell including one brand that we have to send 50% of them back before we even install them. I do not want to put our name on a black coated muffler unless I can put a guarantee it.
 
Thanks for the info and I agree with how you are handeling that as it make perfect business sense. What about just doing the exhaust shields...any problems with that? Thanks again Jamie and looking forward to seeing your options for the 2010 flhx!
 
You ASSumed wrong, the muffler was resting on thick piece of foam. I never said the chrome was "poor quality" but Jamie obviously saw a need to improve it.
 
With the mufflers we looked at ways of improving our current design and we simply want to offer a muffler with a chrome finish that is absolute top shelf. There are a few other very cool changes that we will release on Sept 1st as well.
 
Pretty f'n funny, I am the one who helped you with FM's power package with 5-10 private messages and you call me an ASS. In more or less words you called FM's chrome on the jackpots not very good because of your own mistake, give it up. So it was cement on a thick piece of foam.. right.... still your mistake, then you cover up your own mistake by saying obviously the chrome could be better because FM said they want; what they are producing or soon to be top shelf.... intern justifying your own bs. You are the _ _ _.
