fuel gauge on honda!!?

i have a honda civic and when the engine is off, the fuel indicator drops down to the bottom E, not the red line

is this normal and does this mean petrol runs out when indicator drops to the red line or to the E

it just means that the sensor for the tank is off its nothing to worry about.
