I was riding the interstate to work because I was late, running about 75mph. I went to pass someone and cranked on the gas, there was no response. So I just slowed down a bit and went another half mile. Then the bike just died. I got it to start back up once if really opened up the throttle. Now it wont start. I took the bike home and tried to let fuel out of the fuel valve. No fuel came out. I emptied the tank and took the fuel valve off. I wiped down the tall tower on the valve and blew air through both ports. Air went through. Still getting no fuel flow out of valve with tank open or closed. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do next?
Yes I meant the cap open. And I blew air through both the filters, and air seemed to be going through both.
I was about 30 miles into a full tank of gas. And at 70mpg not much was used. Also the valve is located at an extremely low point on the tank, so I almost completely empty when I switch to reserve.
And yes the air was blown through the outlet.
