There's this tard manager at work that always has an attitude problem with
co-workers. At first, I took him for just an asshole and decided to ignore his abberent behavior. After a while, I started to notice that he went out of his way to act jerkish to certain people at work. Mainly, those who he doesn't hang out with and people that he simply perceives as being above due to his arrogant behavior.

Lately, he's been a real bitch and I'm really getting tired of it. I've decided to either.
a). Tell him off in front of all his peers about what a waste of energy his meaningless existence is. (most likely)

b.) Tell the top manger and handle things appropriatley. (middle road)

or c.) Threaten him or just simply beat the living shit out of him like I would most likely prefer, but probably would not do.

I really wouldn't care so much if it wasn't for the fact that I'm older than him and have worked at the company for much longer than he has. I could always suck it up and take his shit like I have in the past, but I think I'm owed something better than this loser dishes out.
 
If you have a decent manager that you trust, I'd tell the manager, if not, perhaps you have a HR department that could help you reslove the situation. I'm sure if you reiterate that your efficiency and the efficiency of others is suffering because of him, you could get the issue resolved.
 
Sorry to hear about your problem. On the plus side, you're far above most folks in the very fact that you have decided to do something, rather than just shine it on like everyone else does! Bravo and Rep'd! If more people stood up to the assholes, there would be less assholes for everyone!!!
 
Managers get paid LESS than people on the floor and have EQUAL benefits.
He simply loves being able to boss people around and I like to make money.
 
If you want to show him what a better worker you are, you'll take the high road and report him to the top manager. To tell him off in front of all his peers is only sinking to his level. If the top manager won't do anything about it or tries to, but there's no improvement then you can tell him off in front of his peers and embarass the shit out of him. If that fails, then beat the shit out of him so he can't work for a while.
 
Update:

This retard tried to get me to pull my third double in a row at work so he and his friends could go drinking and tubeing down the river around here. I said, "No, I'd rather get some rest." and, in front of all his friends (most of whom happen to be my friends as well), he told me the reason no-one liked me was because I wasn't a team player. (It was a real shitty shift at work, basically no tips involved)

In short, I told him to eat a dick before I force fed him his fathers. Who probably happened to be giving him it free of charge already. I told him I wasn't his god damn slave and that he could feel free to do something about it if he felt differently. He took off with his friends, half of which thought he was an asshole, 1/4 of them said nothing and 1/4 of them thought I was an asshole.

In retrospect, I probably should have brought the incident up to other managers like I have in the past. This approach, however, has proved ineffective in the past and has alienated me from some of the dickwads at work. This time I related to them on their own level......and it worked. Kind of sucks having to sink to their level though.
 
It seems like so far you've followed my plan. You told other managers first, you've told him off in front of his "friends," now, there's only one final part of the plan since all else seems to have failed. Just remember, not at work, and don't get caught.
 
I hope it doesn't come to that.

Not to say that I'm not prepared to beat him to an unrecognizable pulp. It's just that I like my co-workers functional.

We'll see how he takes it.
 
It's good that you are sensible and wish to avoid violence. I was really joking around. I do not really promote violence because I believe there is ALWAYS a way to solve problems without it.
