FUCK! My glands in my neck are swollen like a vipers full of yellow pus venom. Hsssssss.

Every swallow, pain. Tried warm salt water rise. Tried pills, and liquids, and even throat lozenges. I'm not going into my weekend unable to swallow without agony. I rule!

Like life doesn't suck enough on it's own. I haven't got sick in a while, but this fucker is getting worse now that it's the 3rd day.

FUCK!!! I detest being sick so very much.

I'm pretty sure they sell an antibiotic for swollen lymph nodes over the counter.

Some sort of antiviral.

Hunters were swollen up really bad and they just went away after a day, but I had him tested for strep, you should get that test too because that is one of the ways that a deadly strep infection can attack you body, through your glands, as well as some forms of tumors.
 
I couldn't talk when I left work Friday morning. We went into Emergency, second time in maybe 14 years (ironically for the same thing), and by the time the doctor saw me, and looked in my throat, he did one of those "OMG" looks, then quickly went all professional again. This is the second time I've had Strep that tried to literally strangle me. He gave me several kinds of pills and some fuckin' Steroids, oh yeah. heh. Anyways, it's working wonders. I am working now and I feel ok as long as the pills hold out.
 
oh man! i hope you can get to be 100% soon! that sounds miserable! i'm glad the meds are helping, i just hope it makes the problem go away completely! :hug2:

Amusingly enough apparently I had some kind of eye infection which is losing to the antibiotics as well. Who knew. Yuck. Well at least this is cleaning house a bit.
