Oh, a couple of supersonic fighter jets circling my plane...they must really think it's cute.

It's bad enough that they drive cars, I can't even count how many times I have almost gotten into an accident because of a senior citizen motorist who wasn't paying attention whatsoever. One thing for sure is that I would never want to be in an airplane that's piloted by someone over the age of 65.

The Cub can fly at 45 mph, turn well inside the jets, and has little heat signature. That and it's fabric-covered wings and fuselage might not be so easy to shoot down.

But it weighs less that a small car, and might top out at 100 in a power dive.

If she's gonna gun for the President, she neeRAB to step up to at least a Baron, and get real good at dodging trees in low-level flight since the all-metal Beechcraft would be easier to lock weapons onto.

A radio is not required to fly in most airspace. You can't go anywhere near a large airport or land at any airport with a tower, but otherwise you don't need one.

No excuse for not checking temporary flight restrictions before setting off, though

Yes, I'd turn on the radio with the quickness. If I flew mostly local, I'd have a list of freqs on my kneeboard or even laminated & taped to a surface in the cockpit; Chicago Center, Approach, and Departure at the very least.

Plenty of room on a Cub panel for a freq list, though with more sophisticated craft this doesn't hold true;
