so why does this shit always happen...

Just about every single electronic thing i own fails like way too quickly.. i've replaced by DVD player 3 times in 3 years... all my VHS tapes are decaying...(givin i'm replacing those with DVD's slowly but still i got shit that aint made it to DVD yet), my bedroom tv remote sensor is dead and the only way to switch to the RSA jacks(for DVD) is by remote...

I've been through 2 VCR's... and finally my best set of headphones has one ear dying... I have never found a set with better sound in them and I'll be damned if i'm going to by a whole new cd player of the same make and model just for the phones... I got an mp3 player now and the earbuds that came with it blow, as well as the big phones it came with...

What happened to the days when electronics were built like tanks?

and I've been through 5 headphones within 8 months >_<

The cause of this is obviously SATAN! :O ... You sleep at night... Calm, thinking your electronics are safe. Then, suddenly, a huge fucking fat red hand leaps out of your floor and smashes your stuff up. Blame no one but him, For this is the truth.

he makes you spend all of your money on replacing crap so you wont have money for gas and then you cant get to work and get fired and then you will have to hold up a sign for the new houseing projects you live next to. then after a week of that shit you will forget to bring a water bottle and die from dehydration

China sucks. I have two Chinese electronics that are over five years old and work fully. A Sony CarDiscman, dated August 1998, and a Sega Dreamcast, dated November 1999. And when I buy a product, I make a mental note of it's place of manufacture, and month and year of manufacture, and it stays with me for life. It always has, always will.

Everything of Japanese or Korean origin I own kicks ass. Everything Chinese breaks in a year.

There are two things you can do to avoid shitty products:

1. Don't buy a Sony - their newer CD players are crap.

2. Learn to repair a PlayStation 2 - it helps. They are the Yugos of computer systems.

3. If you must buy a new DVD player or TV, get an Apex. They are cheap, Chinese, and reliable. My 20" Apex TV has amazing picture quality, lots of features, a low price, and better construction than a Sony, Philips, or RCA.

The rationale behind Apex is this - all electronics are made in China, so get an Apex, because they are cheap, good quality, and they work. If they die, it's less of a hole in your pocket. I'd personally rather shell out $60 for an Apex DVD player than $120 for a comparable Sony - because the Sony we have, as well as all my friends, is a piece of shit and pulls a Marc Summers with a dirty disc.

4. Buy a Mid-90's era TV from a garage sale - they work great and won't die. We bought a 27" Philco in '92, we did everything from watch TV to play DVD's and games on it, and when we threw it out ten years later it still worked 100% - nothing was even showing any munging at all.

5. Trashpick. Get an older piece of equipment, thoroughly test it, and if it's a cheap fix, fix it, because it will save you money.

Hey hey hey...I haven't had anything break on me since I got off the Risperdal. It really fucks up your frame of mind, spatial relations, etc.
 
Quit buying the cheapest shit! I have an APEX dvd player we bought three years ago and it RAWKS! Lil bitch will practically read any type of disc, and runs like a champ! I think it was only $30 bucks.

Best $30 bucks I ever spent on any electronics!
 
You're just full on contradictions.
The companies in question don't even make anything crappy enough to be compared to Apex.

Seriously, Phillips? Are you high on your meds again? Phillips TVs are rock fucking solid, and Sonys aren't too far behind. Apex might be a decent bargain brand, but pales in comparison to any Sony or Phillips, even their low end models.

The rest of that crap is just ridiculous, it's no wonder you have problems with electronics time and time again.

Hopefully nobody is stupid enough to take your horrible suggestions.
 
I never had a problem with any of my electronics, other than my dog eating my remote controls. You must really suck at the interelectronicsweb.

Maybe I never had a problem because everything I buy is Sony. I like Sony, so fuck the rest. :tongue:
