There I was sitting in my car waiting for a green light. When I saw this idiot, drive right into the car next to me. The lady was in about her 40's and was so surprised she sat there for a few minutes.

I watch, as the lady walks out of her car and looks at the damage. Then right when you think the other guy is going to get out of his car and see if the lady is ok, he puts reverse and goes... Then he speeds off in the other lane... running a red light, almost causing another accident.

I saw the poor woman look in disbelief, waiting for someone to do something. I was with my friends, and they told me to just go. I wanted to follow the cock suker and at least get the license plate number. My friends thought it was better not to get involved.

I felt so bad for the poor lady. She got back in her car and drove off. I was so upset. I can not stand assholes who take no responsibilities in their actions. :mad:
 
Poor lady. I don't know about following that asshole, but you should have atleast stopped to see if the lady was alright.

I notice license plate numbers fast, I would've given her the person's license plate number.

The other person was probably scared, and so were your friends. Happens a lot. I once saw this SUV run into a sign near a street signal. They tried to get away, but the police was right there...
 
When things happen fast like that, there isn't much you can do.

Yeah, man you should've helped, but there was nothing you could do, unless if you're a cop who has the right to chase his punk ass down and fishtail him.


Otherwise, all you could do was ask the chick if she was ok and safe. Don't fret and beat yourself up about it.
 
Dude, were you there? They sounded exactly like that. What a bunch of dumb asses. I would expect this type of comment/attitude from a 17 year old, not from grown ass idiots. Even the 3 girls didn't want to help. How fucking selfish.
 
Oh man, fuck that, I would have tried to catch up to him and get his licsence plate. But... i believe in vigilatism (word? i dont know) in most scenerios. And while im not going to put them under "citizens arrest", i would definately pursue them for their licsence. I'd except people to do the same for me if i had been in that situation.
 
Sometimes its better to be a leader than a follower........all you had to do was drive down the road away, get close enough to the car and get the license plate and then give it to the lady........Thats the problem today everyone is too afraid to "get involved" until its you sitting there with a smashed up car and some A-HOLE driving off unscathed..............

I know its easier said than done but there could be a day that something similar could happen to you and it would be that one person that gives you that one bit of info to help you out...........

Understandably who wants to deal with other people's shit but you could have been a great witness to what happened. The lady probably needed a little sympathy from someone and you would have been the best person for it. However, there's a possibility that you were not the only one to see it happen. You may have been in the best position to go after the moron but at least let's hope someone eles saw what happened and was able to give good details.
 
Just hope she didn't get your plates and turn them in to the cops. Last time I got rear ended was in a '70 model Ford and they were in a brand new SUV. They learned the differance between steel and fiberglass and then fled the scene.
