I hate my goddamned ankles!! They first got fucked up when i was playing football one lunch about a year ago. This big senior AJ tackled me and thought it would be "fun" to jump on my right ankle when he got up:thumbsdn:. Thus all ligaments and tendons on it are officailly(sp) FUCKED up. I was on crutches for over a month, missing the first half of the volleyball season. It has since "healed," and now has a permanent twist to the right. I roll my ankle at least 5 times a week. This is with my brace. More recently, a little over a month ago, whilst playing volleyball I FUCKED up my left ankle. There was a freeball, for those of you who dont follow volleball bear with me, and so i backed off to make my approach. Started my approach, I'm a middle so I run 1's. Kevin, our setter sets a four, and I realize that without the ball to crush, I'm going to net. So, I shift my weight and start my turn-around in mid-air. That's when the yells of "Ball on! Ball on!" start up. I scan the floor, see the ball, and move my foot, right foot, so that I don't land on the ball. My left foot hits the ball anyway, and I end up dislocating my ankle, thus severing tendons AND ligaments. Don't you all just love pain? If so i suggest this as the best thing for you. Long story shorter, I'm done with volleyball for at least a month, I am now back in, and whats more my left ankle are now way more succeptable(sp) to rolls. I roll it at least once a day, with braces. So now I have TWO bad ankles both with permanent turns. yay *sarcasm*. Now I'm going to have to have surgeory on my ankles to fix the twist. The surgeories have a 40% success rate. FUCK!! If they don't work I am done with sports. And without sports no college, because we can not afford it at all without scholarships. Meaning, unless I can either avoid surgeory, or they actually work, I'm done with sports and thus college. DAMN! ...Stupid AJ, stupid varsity letting the ball roll on...
