i love how there are provisions that require the US to make certain cuts when the budget sucks. they're called triggers. when they work like they should, they're designed to help curtail an unbalanced budget.


i also love that congress routinely changes what the triggers are, so that they don't get triggered. or even override the cuts that we've made law. They say fuck it! they don't fucking care! THEY REALLY FUCKING DON'T!
 
they aren't hiring because there's no incentive to. we've created a system that stacks the deck against workers and we've decimated unions (unions also had a hand in their fate as well).

i wouldn't be surprised if we end up in similar working conditions as china in a few years. that would be a republican wet dream
