Well; it sucks to hear the weather bureau over there fails to give warnings. It's pretty much the same thing everywhere: bureaus of meteorology and other weather-related shite fail so badly. There were these bushfires over here where 200+ people died (earlier this year) and there's now an inquest into why the BOM or CFA (weather and fire brigade) didn't issue enough warnings beforehand.

For a second when I was reading your original post, I thought you said there's no basement/ gathering place in your apartment anymore b/c it got wrecked by the storm. xD So everything's OK? Except for the Tornado heading there.
 
Brown is right I guess - every time we wake up and go about our day we're probably fucking something up. It's only natural then that there are weather mishaps that we just can't control. Fact of life.
