took about 5-6 weeks for mine

i got back the 8k credit as well, on top of my other return

good chunk of change

i was gonna put it in my moneym arket account until i figured out what to do with it

but instead i immediately cashed out and went straight for the hookers and blow.


do it. you won't regret it.
 
Seems like a sound plan. How does an individual go about procuring said item? FYI, I just want to hunt the cats.
 
i thought about doing this as well, but again, it's all gone after the hookers and blow.
 
Worst part is that you can't e-File it. Or at least I was told you can't because it was an amendment.
 
that's the thing -- somehow it's making people buy homes.

as for me, i was coming off the lease to my apartment, got a good deal on a brand new home...and i was really planning on buying regardless, so it was a bonus...plus CA is giving another 10k credit over 3 years, so that's another plus
 
Actually no. Nice bonus and wanting to do some upgrades to the house and the 8k will make it all better.

Have money, buy stuff.
 
i just don't get the appeal of this 8k bonus. if anyone is actually pushed in to buying a house because of 8k, then i cry for our country

i see it as a bonus for people that just happened to be buying at the right time
 
What's cool is they sent it, lost it, sent it again, called to confirm I had it, called again the next day.
