Fuck that surgeon!

So last year on March 27, 2006 I got stabbed by some dumbfuck 43 year old crack head. (I was trying to keep him from beating up a woman) So they have Crime Victims Compensation here in Texas. Great...right? No. They tell me to fill out the application blah, blah, blah, blah...so I do. After 10 months of persistance and 1,000,000,000 phone calls I finally receive a check for $404.84 for 3-28-2006 - 4-11-2006. Not bad...helped me out a whole bunch.

Problem: I called CVC just to make sure that I was going to be receiving more checks than just this one. Because, I was told by the doctor I COULD NOT go back to work for another 6 weeks. So when I filed my app. to CVC I got my secretary to average up the wages and send them off to CVC for me. So it's all good and gravy and they say I'm going to receive $3,200.00 in payments or, something like that. Next problem: I just called CVC today and they informed me that was the one and only payment. WTF?!:mad: BULL FUCKING SHIT. The woman tells me that the doctor sent a note saying that he release me for work on 4-11-2006. Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 3-28-2006 - 4-11-2006 only 2 weeks? Does this not add up? Does it seem like my surgeon fucked me?

I personally believe he did. Because, after the surgery I told him straight up, "I can't pay you man...I don't have insurance." He says...that's ok we'll make the bill $2,000 even. I tell him "CVC is going to be paying for it". "Right" :rolleyes: ...he says. So he sent me bills for 10 months until the state finally payed him $800 of his $2000 and told him to call it even. Low and behold...my surgeon fucked me because he thought I was fucking him.

FUCK CRIME VICTIMS AND FUCK DR. CLINTON W. TWADDELL. I HOPE YOU ALL BURN IN HELL YOU GOVERNMENT RAN PUSSIFIED ASS PIRATES!!!!!:mad: :gun:

Is there anything I can do about this?
(Sorry if the rant is jumbled...I'm a little pissed off)
 
I didn't even get two weeks worth of back-pay when it happened to me. The worst part was, I had previously paid an extra $500.00 to the violent crime victim's board on top of the $65.00 fine for a nonviolent offense (first time possession of marijuana.) They'll take your money quickly, but then use every means to not pay the people it was meant for. NJ can really suck. Our former Governor, too. Sorry to hear about your injury.
 
First of all FUCK LAWYERS, especially injury lawyers here in TEXAS. I had a lady rear end me 4 times and then when I pulled over and proceeded to get out of my car she pulled up and pinned me between my driver door and her front bumper. I moved out from between being pinned and she got out of the car, called me a "HO" and while I was standing in front of her car, reved the engine and proceeded to drive over me, flipping me over the hood of her car and onto the street. My 3 year old daughter was in the backseat and she bent my driver door all the way back while I was lying in the street and my daughter was strapped into her carseat in the back.
That stupid bitch didn't even go to jail that night. The next day she was arrestted and I find out later that she was already on probation for criminal mischief and retaliation, the retaliation was against a JUDGE!!!
You know what I got and still get? Letters telling me she is up for parole soon and then another letter following saying she isn't getting out. Nice Compensation. On top of that my daughter had nightmares for months and I had just started back at a company I had previously been employed and lost the job because of all the "meetings" with the injury lawyers.
End result, insurance payed me and my daughter a combo of 2,000.00.
Your case just write letters and HOUND the FUCK out of them. I just don't have the time nor the gumption at this point to screw with it.
 
Good luck Zoe!!! It seems that people in the Govt always short ya, and then hope like hell you'll just go away and accept it. Lots of calling and letters are needed to get anything done anymore, even when you're promised things. I feel for you and yours.
