Actually they're pretty cool. But You order something from them online and it says rebate. No rebate form comes with the product. Apparently they want to cut down on printing cost. They assume you have a printer to go along with your online purchase. So, I go back online to the page I ordered from. No Rebate form to print up. I call their Rebate Department (They can afford to hire operators to discuss rebates but not send you a fagggoted form).

So they tell me to call a store. The store has nothing to do with online purchases. ITS ONE BIG FUCKING LOOP. I wonder how many fucking people they cheat out of 20 bucks. You know its such a small amount of cash for alot of people, that they know people will give up.

Well 20 bucks is a mother fucking ass pizza.

Does anyone ever even get their rebates? I have never recieved a rebate. Ever. Do all the stuff right, even call up the company. It gets "lost" and I never hear about it again. Rebate=h4x.

I've never gotten a rebate from them either, so I stopped shopping there. Ebay has everything, and if it dont work I make it work or write the people and get my money back and buy from a different person. Fuck Radioshack, pinching mother fuckers.

Now, see, when the subject of your thread says "Fuck Radioshack", and your first fucking sentence is "Actually, they're pretty cool," I lose all respect and interest in the thread, and therefore, didn't read a single word of it.

Here I'm thinking you were gonna go off on RadioShack stores for being so shitty lately.

Most of the stores are more about selling popular electronic devices and cellphones instead of what they used to be....an electronic hobbyist shop.

And yes, I get my rebates.

Radio shack used to be cool. Most of them were operated by people with ham radio licenses and hands on knowledge of electronics and components.
Don't know about rebates but I have seen their new slogan:

You got questions
We have blank stares.

I'm pretty much convinced that a lot of merchants purposely make the process of rebates so difficult and time consuming that most people don't have the endurance to follow though until the transaction has been completed.

Hmm, sounds like a new business enterprise. Acting as a rebate advocate - handling all of the details until the customer receives what the contract guaranteed. Maybe charge 10 percent of the total refund?

That is why you should check everything out before you order anything that has a rebate. The last item I ordered from their website clearly stated online everything required to fill out their rebate. Most of it is handled from "rebatesonline.com".

That was perhaps the easiest rebate I ever filed for. Of course I have a printer, so printed off the sheet at the end of step 5. Then when the product arrived, I cut out the UPC code, attached it, and mailed it in.
