i dunno if its just my computer or it with everyone but sometimes this window comes up and its always asking me to install 'IE Plugin' or some crap and i never click yes coz i fucking hate downloading shit i dont want, but then this message comes up saying 'you must click YES to enter'.. omg i dont know what to do anymore, and then the next thing i know all this shit has been installed and it just screws with the whole thing
 
Ok, first off, you don't have to install those fucking plugins to display the site. A lot of those "Install on demand" popups aren't actually input from the website itself, they're either A)Sponsering the site; or B)Some random popup that did not actually come from the site and they're just someone who managed to get ahold of your IP no..

If you are having trouble with a specific language, I can maybe give suggestions. I've had experience in C++, Java, HTML, Javascript, C#, and the worthless but ever-present VB.
 
PS: I'll be honest. DO NOT LEARN ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH VB!! It is the WORST language imaginable. I suggest HTML (You'll NEED this for web design), java, javascript, and maybe a little c#. Don't worry, they're all "curly braces" languages and are all supprisingly similar.

Here are some resorces.
For HTML get "HTML Complete" published by Sybex.
You can learn an assload about java from http://java.internet.com.
For javascript (you'll need little of this), get "Sam's Teach Yourself Javascript in 24 Hours.
Don't bother with C# unless you really need it, but if you do, I recomend "Visual C#.net Step by Step" written by Sharp and Dagger, and published by ugh Microsoft.

All 3 books can be found in the computer section of most major bookstores.
 
I tried to download it but neither computer has the power. One is an old '95, I can understand why, but the other is a damn XP with a pentium 4 and a 2.8Ghz prossesor.
 
u need to download mozilla firefox so u dont get pop ups, its faster than the original mozilla. i dunno the site, just got to google and search for it :thumbsup:
 
I agree that windows XP is crappy. They did not most of the bugs before they released it to the market, and they even admitted to this. I find that ME is a much better alternative, because it has been properly debugged.
 
I think you're insane. I've had XP crash ONCE since I installed it a couple years ago. I've NEVER seen the blue screen with it. I would see the blue screen with ME 5 - 10 times per week. I also had various issues with my LAN when I was on ME and now XP has been having no troubles with it whatsoever.
 
They both suck ass, ME sucking more hard than even Windows 3.1. Server 2003 is the only super-stable version of Windows on the market. 2000 Advanced Server is now off the market, so that does not count.

ME is the shittiest OS to ever grace this planet. It's an insult to humanity. Any DOS kernel based Windows is absolute SHIT.
 
What you CheapAsses should do is fuckin by a Mac, all your problems will be solved, Macs don't fuck-up like PCs do! I got an eMac and I have had very few minor problems within in the year ive had it. Fuck microsoft and windows.

Hmm... I've been in a film editing studio (I had a school project and a family friend in the business) and I've worked with Macs.

They are stupid. Reboot this, reboot that. Some things flat-out don't make sense, some things are endlessly frustrating.

They don't "fuck-up like PC's do," which is permanently, but they fuck up at a frightening rate, and if you didn't save, you're screwed.

I know. I spent all day with one and couldn't stand it.
