I'm telling you...get Mozilla...this will never happen again...
I never blame it on the PC...I blame it on myself. I have killed stuff before...such as a 486 CPU (Damn non-ZIF sockets!).
One of the reasons I have problems with my PC is that I have a tendency to buy cheap parts...I have two power supplies sitting in my closet because the suck so bad. One is a Powmax, the other a Turbo Case (Which isn't THAT bad, it just sucks for OCing). I have a 300-watt Soyo Maxpower PSU that works like a charm and has great voltages. They sell a 350-watt one for $10 from their site...they are awesome! They put out EXCELLENT voltages, are stable as hell, but man, they are LOUD. They really are one of the best deals I have seen... They are AMD and Intel certified, too.
Anyway, Hypertron...what kind of motherboard do you have? I like my ASRock a lot...I'm a HUGE fan of Asus boards.

I use a ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe its worked fine untill now, still works good guess ill just have to buy a sound card or send it back to ASUS since its brand new

Yeah...I'm piss poor, and I want my audio, so I'm just going to spend $12 on a "pull" Soundblaster 128. I like the Sound Blasters because they do not depend on the CPU to do all the work for them.

my computer experiences the same problem, most of the time i get porno shit coming out of no where. its really embarrassing when i have visitors over because they think ive been looking up porn when i havent, and it annoys the shit out of me. because of this im always cleaning out the system, but the more i do this the more adware crap gets installed and it has slowed it down too.

most of those kids you see with laptops probably got them from dell. I see those fucking commericals all the fucking time.
d00d get a dell if you a want a cheap laptop, they are dirt cheap as far as laptops go. 2 of my friends have them and they work good enough for them. When i'm off to college if I don't build my own I'll probably get a dell because....well...I'm a cheap bastard.

Download Mozilla 1.7. This browser does not have ActiveX, so you should not have to worry about any of that adware shit. It also blocks popups.
To kill the adware:

Download Spybot: Search and Destroy. Have it clean your system of nasty, grungy, Adware and Spyware.
Then go here:
www.grisoft.com
Download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. It's free, and will clean all those nasty viruses out of your system.
If none of this works, then backup your data, and reformat and reinstall. But be sure to load these programs on after you reinstall, or else these problems will keep occuring.

I can't wait until I get my new dual Duron setup...(Drools...Drools heavily).
Ahhh..I've always wanted a dual CPU system...and I finally figured out a way to afford one. I did the bridge mod for my current Duron, so it's all ready to go for dual processing...I'm swapping the mobo, buying another CPU, and eventually I'll get a better video card...After I upgrade this rig, it will last me for two more years...
It's gonna have two 1.8GHz Durons...Those perform just as well as a 2200+.
Damn I'm psyched for this new setup.
