Fuck car insurance

im the victim of one hit and run, which isnt even my fault. I have police reports and the guy behind bars to prove it and my insurance decides to up my rates to 900 dollars a month. wtf?! I even got the other drivers insurance to reimburse my insurance after mine took care of the damages. they are something else.
complete bullshit if you ask me.

safe to say, they will never get anymore of my money, im driving illegal now.
the fines are cheaper.

There are other insurance companies out there.

Frankly, I wish states would make insurance mandatory to register your car and if you're caught without either one, your car gets impounded. None of this "the fines are cheaper" candy ass bullshit. Grow a pair and learn to act like an adult.
 
My guess is that there's some background that we're not privy too. No way could an insurance company raise your rates that much without reason. I've only been in one accident (recently) and was rear-ended. My rates didn't change at all. Rates could change or be higher for multiple reasons, such as; credit score, age, accident history, school grades, type of car...

Either he's "accident prone" already, or has a really horrible insurance company.

I pay $1800 year for my ford ranger and i flipped it off-roading and was rear ended by a cop who fell asleep at the wheel (over the course of 2 years).

OP...that is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. I'm going to laugh my ass off when you get into an accident that totals your car, because if you don't have insurance, you can't get a new one, so if you need your car to get to work, you are shit outta luck.

There is no way in hell anyone is paying $10,800 a year in car insurance. You are basically paying rent for an apartment and a car note. You HAVE to be lying.
 
He's right. Because I guarantee you that having been hit by uninsured motorists twice, I will sue the fucking crap out of you. I will take money out of every pay check you get for the rest of your God given life. I will take everything you own that isn't strictly a necessity for you to live.

I will leave you with just enough so that you can feed your sorry ass and pay for bus fair to get to work so that I can take your fucking paycheck at the end of the day.

Think how much that would suck.

If you can't afford your car insurance you can't afford your car. Take the bus.
 
While I basically agree with Uber, I do have to say that there are no busses in my area and I have driven uninsured.

I also think that insurance is an entirely communistic ideal that goes against the whole free commerce arena of America. Why? Because insurance is an unregulated industry that we are required to pay for by the government if we want to be able to get to work. Furthermore, the requirements for getting insurance are getting ridiculous and are directly against anyone making less than medium level incomes. The lower your income and credit score, the more it costs to have car insurance. The whole insurance schema is ridiculous.

Electricity and running in-house water/sewage are as unnecessary as driving, yet these are regulated by the government in price and business dealings.

Guess what, OP. Insurance is one of the companies that is allowed to take luck into account when charging your premiums. If you are prone to getting in accidents, your fault or not, guess what?! Your rates go up. And uninsured fucks like you go and make everyone else's premiums higher by running your uninsured ass into us. I don't need any help, thank you the fuck very much.

I have an idea. Put car in drive (in your driveway, or somewhere safe) run in front of it. Lay down. PROBLEM FUCKING SOLVED. (we don't have to deal with your cheap ass anymore)
 
I think driving without insurance would bring much less desired effects than if you were to try and find another insurance company. It may seem like a large sum, but perhaps the cash you would have to pay without its help would be an even larger detrimental factor. :]
 
In Finland it's mandatory to have a car insurance when you register your car+ you have to go on a yearly checkup if you get to drive the car or not (if it's any danger for the others, like a broken light or something)
If you don't go on the checkup your car is illegal.
My boyfriend pays about 1000euros/a year.(before he switched it was 1600euros or something)

oh and shame on you, get a car insurance :)
