That same fucking shit happened to me.

9 bucks at taco bell, five bucks in gas, and a vitamin water put my account $138 negative.

I fucking hate bank of America.

And the b.s. part of it all?

I'm paying for overdraft protection.
 
Banks piss me off. Now I have overdraft protection linked to my only credit card. It's saved me once when I didn't plan well. Instead of $30 per transaction, it was only $12 + the money I was in the hole. So instead of like $100 in the red I was only $50 in the hole. That was a way easier pill to swallow. See if your bank has an overdraft protection option.

I plan on linking mine to my savings account. It saves a lot on overdraft and comes out of money you've already stashed in the bank.
 
Washington Mutual for the fucking win. Their service is stellar. Been banking with them for a few years now and I've never had a problem.
