Surprisingly (although there's plenty of that sort of talk in some channels), I definitely have intelligent conversations in IRC more often than I see them here. I also find it ironic that the most intelligent posts here are generally wildly off-topic :lol:

the hype machine rolls on...FTN is a nice site, great if you have a shitty connection, but there are a lot of popular torrents it just never seems to get, Forums are fairly active (but not even close to how ScT was) but I could tell you anything and you will still try to get in, so I dunno why I waste my time

the same community , the same source , the same name , the same logo ..the same spam by the team.. all this years .
pre time and all this technical issues This is not the purpose to be special i believe .
To several of us already there are children that in a while go to the school since FTN exists .
ftn survived times that other communities unfortunately fell in them ...even ftw... (but rabbit for ever of course !!!)

No offense but since software is very task specific what would you put in a software pack besides games that an individual would find across the board useful?
Also IPT has great movie packs with a lot of rarities also freeleech so unless they are pilfering them all from FTN I don't see how that makes FTN special?
Good luck on the FSC thing btw as I hear that they also have packs there.
There's this place where avatars and movies are also numerically rated... with some 10s thrown in as well. But don't ask for invites here! :lol:
You don't even need good connection. I have only 0.5MBit up and have about 1.8 ratio just by mainly using the general section. All the free leech stuff, maybe 200MB in programs and not a single mp3 since I prefer FLAC. Just seed and you'll be ok.
