Ft Jackson boot camp question...?

Fort Jackson does not have "Boot Camp". That is what the Navy and Marines call their initial training. For the Army and Air Farce, it's called Basic Training.

As to the rest of your question, I have no idea.

Currently....

Is 2/39 still there? AAA-O?

I believe they said that my 2003 cycle was the last cycle in Company C because the barracks were old as dirt.

Is 2/39 still there as a boot camp site or what did they do with it?
SFC...I pardon and mean no disrespect. I called it boot camp when I was in...it is what it is. The technical term is Basic Training or if you want to get REAL technical...BIT...

Basic Indivisual Training and then I also had BCT. *which is what my recruiters called it* Basic Combat Training.

Please don't make this about terminology.

2/39 is still at Ft. Jackson, the barracks have all been rebuilt into star ships, like what Ft. Leonard-wood has for their basic training troops.
2/39 was temporarily put on hold from basic while their new barracks where being built because Ft. Jackson didn't have any more room due to so many other battalions had to utilize temporary trailers for living.
