Fruit diet? plus exercise. Results?

Would I lose weight , and how much, if I went on a fruit diet?
I would eat nothing but fruits all day, plus maybe a salad with chicken (grilled). (So I wouldn't be starving myself, and fruits are nutricious) I want to lose weight. And when I've lost enough, I want to slowly transiton back to normal, and still watch what I eat so I don't gain it back.
I want to become healthier, skinnier, and have more energy, and feel better, be more toned etc.
So if I pair this with cardio 2-3 times a week, daily crunches/weights/lunges/etc, how soon will I see results? How much can I expect to lose in a month (I'm currently around 140 pounds 62-65 kilograms).

And, of course, I would watch the calories.. What I meant is taking in less cals than my body needs, resulting in me losing weight. I would get those calories from fruits, which (most of them ) contain a lot of water, a lot of nutrients, and some sugar, etc. Which is healthier than getting those calories from junk fodd, fast food, bread, pasta, etc :)
