I just purchased frozen cooked craw fish and never had them before.
I guess since their precooked, I don't have to do much preparation. Do they only need to be thawed now or is there something I need to do first?

thaw then drain water. they cook really fast & r easy to overcook! depending on what ur cookin them in. pastas & soups/gumbo, put them in like 5-10 mins before done, on a low heat. i would not recommend eatin plain packed crawfish or re-boilin them.

First of all, it is spelled "crawfish" or even "crayfish", but not "craw fish". Secondly, cooked means cooked. Here in Europe, we usually thaw them out and eat 'em on buttered toast.... (you can even eat 'em after they have been warmed up in a microwave oven.)

PS: sorry, I assumed you were talking about crayfish "tails"... if not, then it is a different ball game depending on what country you are in. In Scandinavia, crayfish (whole) are eaten a lot differently than in, for instance, Louisiana.
