Maybe the first of the snowbound Scandinavian vampire movies. Some gore but a with lot more wit and charm than its US/UK counterparts plus some very creepy scenes, particularly in the hospital sequences.
A group of Nazi soldiers choose the wrong place to spend the night. If the snowed-in farmhouse they commander is really deserted, how did the occupants leave without disturbing the deep snow outside . . . .?
Cut to present day and a rash of dead pets and townsfolk plus some dodgy medics dishing out mysterious red pills.
Talking dogs, death by garden gnome and some great performances by a cast who all dress like they're in South Park. Great fun.
