front wheel noise? 95 zx6 kawasaki?

hey everyone, got a 95 zx-6 kawasaki, fun bike, but today i noticed a grinding noise coming from the front wheel, it only seems to make the noise when im NOT turning, and after i apply the brake hard.... it goes away for a few mins, then starts back up again. brakes are about 400 miles old. any ideas???
 
try pulling off your front wheel and see if there is anything loose in the rubbing against the bearing, such as a washer come loose. I would say you need new bearings, but if there was a noise from bearings it would be consistent and wouldn't stop if brakes were applied. Good luck mate!
