front signal stays on

2004 Suzuki Savage 650
ok, I know I have a short somewhere, but has anyone have this happen, the front left turn signal stays on while driveing, blinkers work, they do not blink fast but at their normal rate, where to begin??

Let's begin by eliminating the obvious.

Does that model and year use the front "signals" as running lights too?
My Zuki does.

If that is the case, then the problem really is on the OTHER side where it is likely that you need a new bulb (one of the 2 elements is burned out).
 
my manual does not state anything like that, so I am going on a no response, as far as I can remember, only the head and tail lights are on when in operation, but it wonted hurt to check the other side anyway
