i have found its part number 430716 but what size is it maybe i can get it from a hardware store or something and is there any secret to getting it out of the fork??

If it were me, I would get the proper stud from HD. Yo can never be sure what grade of bolt or metal you're getting from a hardware store, regardless of what they say. Getting the old one out could be a problem if it broke off flush with the fork. If there is still some of the stud sticking out, I would try vice grips first. If not, you may have to remove the fork and get it to a machine shop.
How did you break it off?

When I had one snap, I was able to use stud extractor. I was lucky that there was some of the stud sticking out. If it is flush you should let a machine shop do it. And I would definitely buy the stud from HD as Nem stated.

Seems like overkill, but it worked where visegrips would not.

resolved i brought it to my dealer yesterday and under warranty they extracted and repaired the bolt and i am glad i went with the factory stuff
it broke off because it was not square one side was higher then the other and to much stress on one side but they had enough sticking out to extract
