I have a 1986 Honda Accord with 209,000 miles, when I turn to the right you hear a very loud noise....like bearing clicking....going straight it drives fine. Lately I have noticed that there is a squeaking noise coming from the driver side (which is also the side the noise seems to be coming from) when you go over bumps. There is also a very slight steering wheel wobble when you first take off until you get up to about 25mph. Tires look good (no bulges or tread problems). What should I check and is it dangerous to keep driving?...I was told it sounded like the axle on the driver side?....What are your opinions?.....How would I know for sure?...HELP

It could be a lot of things on a car that old with that many miles. I would have the whole front end inspected by a shop. I would be checking the tie rods, ball joints, halfshafs and wheel bearings. Look to see if the rubber boots are worn out and such.

Imports are not junk. Especially Hondas. I grew up with die hard GM parents. After buying my Acura RSX and actually learning to work on cars myself. I probably wont buy anything else. How many Fords are on the road with 209k miles?
