This isn't something the average guy can accomplish. It takes alot of training to complete this job. The pinion needs to be set near perfect, the gear lash needs to have the right right pattern. Thrust bearing, and everything else can be destroyed within a few miles if this isn't done right. Take it to a qualified shop to change the gear ratios. If you attempt this yourself, goodluck.
