From The Makers of Ratatoing...

This company should just merge with the Asylum (makers of such original concepts as transmorphers and snakes on a train), and be done with it already.

What is that a ripoff of?

Anyway, I think some parents buy these movies not because they think they are the real thing, but because they think they might be similar to the movies that their kid's like. I remember I saw a comment on Youtube where a dad said he bought his son the Cars ripoff because his son already had the Disney version and he figured his son would like the ripoff as well. Apparently, he did.

It's just what it sounds like. A big shark vs. a big octopus. In the trailer the shark actually takes a bite out of a bridge, and then leaps up and takes a bite out of an AIRPLANE. Debbie Gibson is involved somewhere.

As strange and potentially crazy as this sounds...:p, I actually enjoyed Ratatoing. Sure, it's nothing compared to the--ahem--"real thing," and the animation is like a low-budget Sega CD cutscene...but, it kept my attention. Maybe, it was the "so-bad-it-was-good" effect and maybe because I'm a fan of the 4Kids voice actors (Lisa Ortiz, Dan Green and Veronica Taylor are in it for sure). Nothing remarkable, but mildly entertaining for a short-length shoestring-budget animation. I'd give it a 6.5 or so, which (umbrella from fruit throwing on) makes it better than the bland Open Season and Over the Hedge in my book.

Don`t forget "Alien vs. Hunter", "30,000 leagues under the sea", "The davinci treasure" and "I am Omega"(I am Legend) .

and yes, all of those are real.

EDIT: My new favorite is "The day the earth stopped"

From what I read there, that game is more based on the character of Maya the Bee, who was a children's book character and the star of a Nick Jr. cartoon during the '90s.

I don't think any of those links work, which is a shame because "Snakes on a Train" really piqued my intrest.

As for "what's UP"...no...just no...

Sunday School Musical? The Land That Time Forgot? Allan Quartermain and the Temple of Skulls? 18 Year Old Virgin? I refuse to believe that this company isn't some huge joke/troll company. There's no way they can be serious. My brain refuses to accept a reality in which they are.

Look them up on Wikipedia. They're all there.

The Wikipedia article says that while they're best known for cashing in on better known films, they're also quite serious at what they're doing.

I thought Ratatoing was fake until I saw a copy of it in Circuit City and nearly messed my pants.

I'll never doubt you again, Internet.
