Well we are A group of 5 ( M and F )
We Intend To go By bicycle from Cairo to The Borders of Egypt and Libya ... After Matrouh

Its gonna take nearly 23-30 Days if we Gonna Drive for 12 to 14 Hours Every day ...

Am realy Excited about that ... But I wanna Ask is it need Permission from the police or Any thing Like that??
Can we hold Knives without Getting Arrested?
is it so dangerous?
better In summer or Winter ?

hahah In summer , like today weather,, it is likely to have (sun/heat stroke) as the body produces or absorbs more heat than it can dissipate. so forget summer,,, In winter,, it can be cold,, anyway the best time would be Nov/Dec,,,

No permission is required by police,,if you stick to the main roads,,, Although I would advise to have an emergency car to accompany you (do not yo know how people drive here !!!,, Accidents would be expected...)In Egypt there are no roads suitable for biking like in Holland as an example,,,
Holding knives is illegal,,, (but who would know !!!) if you were stopped and some one wants to be bad at you,, you can be charged of holding a (white ) weapon with no permission (6 months in jail),, btw what knives will do to you,, do you think they are useful with you if you were attacked by professional....hahahah that is funny,,lol

*the answer is based on that the group is all Egyptians,, if not,, you should organize with a sort of authority (or at least a tour company),,,lots of problems can happen,I can count them if you want !!!
