Just wondering what your feelings were on both films...

FN1 - 1985, FN2 - 1989, both strarring Roddy McDowell as vampire killer PETER VINCENT, and William Ragsdale as CHARLIE BREWSTER!

The first film was brilliant - it was the first horror film i saw at the flicks in 1986! Second one - loved it (not quite as much) but still good. Thought it would pave the way for number 3.......alas it never happend!

Doubt you could ever do a Fright Night 3 now - not without Roddy. Be interesting though!

no FN 3 ON THE WAY.
but a REMAKE IS on the way:eek:SUPRIZED NO! haha

i think its been put on the fast track since disturbia did really well in US and there kinda similer in story

Loved both and the first is an often underrated gem of a comedy-horror.
William Ragsdale played his role well but Roddy as would be expected stole the show with a first class performance and Sarandon put in a excellent performance too.
It was one of the most wittiest, scary, well filmed and very funny horror movies of the horror boom of 79 to 85.

I don't think FN 2 did very well financially hence why a third was never made.

Doesnt need remaking but it will be.
