Friendly/unfriendly behaviors when pet cats meet other cats outdoors?

My female, spayed cat is mostly indoor, but sometimes she gets outside so we just supervise her while she's out. We have a couple of larger cats around the neighborhood that tend to run into her when she's out.

One in particular likes to hang around. This morning I saw them laying down near each other. Both were just looking around them (which I took as a good sign? Didn't seem too concerned with the other). The other cat left, and my cat seemed to be hiding in the bushes and walking very slowly, but then when I tried to get her she ran towards the other cat. She's skittish in general, but I'm just making sure that she wasn't laying down out of fear/if she got up she would be attacked.

Just wondering what is friendly between cat "acquaintances" haha and what isn't. She's tiny so if she got in a fight, she could get knocked around pretty badly. I'm assuming she wouldn't follow a cat she didn't like, but I'm no pro. on cat communication.
Okay. I figured there would be people going on tangents if I didn't list every detail about my cat:

She is up to date on ALL vaccinations (feline leukemia, rabies, you name it), flea control, etc.

I appreciate the concern about her well-being though, and I am concerned as well..so please just answer the question. :) Thanks!

All I'm going to say is, I hope and pray your cat has been vaccinated for feline leukemia and is all up to date on her rabies vaccines allowing her to romp with strange cats who you don't know are up to date on anything. Especially if she were to get bit by one of them.
