I recently recorded friday the 13th part 3,4,5,6 and 7 on SKY i know these are the same versions as the DVD'S BBFC 18 and R17(American) i had never seen these movies before i thought they were good i know doing some reading about part 6&7 they were badly censored will there be a uncut version of 6 or 7? if so when?
I know at the moment you can buy the box set on Region1 DVD but they are the rated R ones (cut).Seeing that i have part 1-7 its not worth buying this box set.
 
Friday the 13th Part 1 Uncut on region 2

Friday the 13th Part 2 - Not uncut anywhere, same for 3,4,5,6,7 and 8

Jason Goes To Hell: Friday the 13th Part 9 - Uncut region 2 and ntsc video(i have the video, so don't know about all countries in region 2, but French version is definitely uncut).

As for when uncuts released in above cut ones, there is nothing at the moment.
 
Paramount tried to release Uncut versions of all the films in the Friday 13th Boxset, however over time the cut footage has become lost or is of such poor quality it can't be included. An example of this is Friday the 13th part 7, Kane Hodder is the only person with a full uncut version and thats a poor grainy tape now.

Sadly we'll probably never see the full uncut versions unless someone went back and re-filmed the entire series scene for scene.
 
I'm sure they could do what Hong Kong LegenRAB do with their digitally remastered DVRAB.

The lost 40 minute footage of Bruce Lee's 'Game of Death' was incredibly poor quality when first uncovered but if you watch the HKL rerelease it is very clear.
 
Thanks for the info on Friday the 13th movies just a damm shame if they have lost the footage surley there are people out there that have the lost footage on say laserdisc or video maybe they could get it that way.
I know Friday the 13th part 7 was very gory at the time.
SKY have been showing the movies in recent weeks 2-7 so far
 
Now I'm not a Friday the 13th fan.

So.
Is the last Friday the 13th considered to be part 9
or Jason X which is absolutely abysmal and made with about 50p, and had that made with tape quality pornos have
or Freddy vs Jason which i enjoyed actually :)

I've also seen alot of the Friday the 13th movies on sky lately. Thought Jason X was crap,but Freddy vs Jason was pretty good,eventho i felt Freddie was gettin the better of Jason in the fight seens. But my favourite Friday the 13th is part VII - The New Blood which was dubbed as Psycho vs Psychic.
 
I know part VII the new blood is heavily cut, but part 6 as far as I know isn't!!!! The cut scenes (although Grainy) are available on the NTSC region 1 boxset containing the parts 1 - 8
 
The supposedly "last" one, where he really does "die" even tho he comes back in that space one, and then again in Freddy vs Jason, is on TV this coming friday I think, channel 5..It's the one where he becomes the slug thing possessing folk :rolleyes:
 
I saw Friday the 13th Part 4 the other day. Corey Fieldman is one crazy nutter in that one.

Seen them all except for part 5 now. Thought Jason X was the best one but being a huge fan of Sci Fi makes me a little bias. Freddy Vs Jason was a big letdown for me, the grudge match just wasn't as explosive as I expected it to be.
 
I think that Friday the 13th Part 11 is a bit way off, they are going to be doing a Freddy Vs Jason 2 first if they are going to make another film with Jason in. And LOL, Quentin Tarantino is NOT directing the next F13th film.
 
Hi, don't think Freddy vs Jason 2 will be happening for a long time, if at all, read somewhere, that a supposed sequel was in the works with Ash from the evil dead franchise to star in it, fighting the pair of them, but Sam Raimi, creator of evil dead, said no way, as he now has in the works a remake of evil dead, which effectively killed any idea for a FvsJ sequel, think a stand alone Jason film was put on the back burner to.
 
Yeah, I didn't like the idea of Ash brought into the movie, thought that was a bad idea imo, so glad it didn't happen, just have to see what happens with the Evil Dead remake now.

Last time I heard anything about FvJ 2 was in March.
