There was a Friday the 13th Box set that was released over in America. It had the following

Tales From The Cutting Room: Deleted/Extended Scenes
- Friday the 13th (Cut footage, Side-by-Side comparison with the theatrical cut with additions noted)
- Friday the 13th Part 4 (3 Deleted/Extended scenes)
- Friday the 13th Part 6 (Extended gore scenes cut before theatrical release)
- Friday the 13th Part 7 (Extended gore scenes cut before theatrical release

we've never had the full uncut versions in the UK i think

look on imdb alternate versions for each film - there is loaRAB missing

NO they're not.

The only uncut film is Part 1 where Warner own it in the UK so they released the unrated version .

This unrated version was released to VHS in the 80's but later replaced by the R rated cut version for VHS retail release.

The rest of the series is owned by Paramount who even own part 1 in the US and they have decided to only release the cut R rated versions worldwide.

So for a change - the UK wins out over the US for Part 1.

The US boxset that came out did include additional gore scenes but only as extras and not within the films and probably not all the cuts.

So Part 1 in the UK is the only uncut film on dvd currently

IIRC all the Sky Movies broadcasts have been the cut versions too.

The BBFC website may well say they were passed uncut but this would be because the R rated versions were submitted so the BBFC did not have to make further cuts

Sometimes the censor's will say if they could have offerred the film company a higher rating, and the site will show the running times of previous submitted prints so we can compare that to. :)

The more sites the OP looks at the better. :)

That only applies if the film company submit an uncut version.

They would likely all be 18 anyway.

But often the film company will want a 12 or PG and will choose to cut to avoid a 15.

If an uncut FT13 was refused an 18 there would not be a higher option as there isnt one.

But I cant see that happening .

It would be nice if Paramount put through uncut versions of these films aswell as Temple of Doom to make the UK Blurays worth buying.
