hello mate after persistent reseach i solved my own problem on blackberry 8220 just saying UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION INDEX 6>=6 i used JL_Cmder v1.90 with after the programs instructions to start i did 5 With RESETFACTORY which later on wipe the device and the program works till the phone was off and later flash with DESKTOP MANAGER USING THE CORRECT FLASHBIN 8220 4.6.0.165 and finally the phone was live and kicking
 
hello BRO there might be several causes to this problem either ACTIVE SYNC is absent from you PC ,or if you look into your DRIVE C;PROGRAM FILES/COMMON FILES/ RESEARCH IN MOTION/SHARED/LOADER FILES AND LOOK INTO THE FOLDER INSIDE WHICH SHOULD ONLY BE THE PHONE FLASHED BIN AND OPEN THE FILE TO SEE IF JAVA LOADER APP IS PRESENT IF NOT TRY TO DOWNLOAD OTHER FILES FOR THE SAID PHONE AND REFLASH IF NOT WORK CONTACT ME AGAIN
 
HELLO BRO, the problem of SORRY ONLY EMMERGENCY CALLS ARE ALLOWED is now a thing of the past as i solved it yesterday with Download manager on BACK UP AND RESTORE CLICK ON ADVANCED . ON THE DOWNDROP MENU ON RESTORE SECTION TRY TO CLEAR WIPEHANDHELD AND REFRESH HANDHELD CONFIGURATION. THIS WILL RESTORE THE CALL CONFIGURATION AND THE PHONE IS OK . THIS IS TESTED ON BLACKBERRY 8700C CINGULAR
 
hello mate try to download the latest BB download manager 5.00 from http:// members.a1.net/updateservice//bb , however all the files concerned will be solved here also the BB 9500 firmware install and make sure it the only firmware for blackberry in the drice c and flash this will solve this problem
 
Does anybody know why the OS for bb8820 gives a message error reading initialazation file. the mfi file runs perfectlly but the firmware for the handheld I cant find anyware The files that do download without timing out gives the same message All i need is to reload the software for the handheld and the disks supplied with the phone has no os softwareany new ideas will be appreciated
 
I bought an old BB 9530 (Verizon), and I have unlocked it by entering MEP code which was read by BB dongle.
But the "network" show " Blocked", what's the problem? I can't use my valid SIM card, how to solve it?

Will this unlock method work for BlackBerry Curve 8520?
I browsed the link above but there is no mentioned such info.

I would like to know the answer before to start unlocking.
