I have a 2005 Ford Ranger. Ever since we got it new, it's sat around idle for a long time, only being used occasionally. It only as 10,000 miles on it. It is bare to the bone- it has no features. The smallest cab, a standard shift, and a clock radio. Nothing more.
Recently it's developed this problem. It will drive for about 10 minutes, and then in the middle of a shift the car will just turn off. I'll have to coast to the side of the road. The car will not start back up unless It's left alone for an hour or two, then it starts right back up and will do it again in another 15 minutes. With this problem, it's undrivable. It's happened many times. Thanks for any input.
