FUNimation distributes all of the 4Kids DVDs (save for Pok?mon, which was done through Viz) - that's all they do. 4Kids still does the episodes, extras, menus, promotional materials, etc, etc...
I spotted these French articles about Marathon, there 4 companies who eye Marathon studios: the Gaumont group, De Agostini, an italian press edition and the private equity firms Georges Soros and Apax
Isn't SIP Animation majority owned by Disney, anyway?
And, while I'm at it, Marathon would be better off if Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and David Michel were axed. The company needs some serious new talent, new writers, new character designers... a coup, if you will.
