Freetime!

Bah I'm getting less and less freetime every week. Before I started my job about a year and a half ago I always had like 2 full days of just do whatever the hell I want time and a lot of time between school and karate. Even when I started working I almost always had one day when I could do whatever the hell I wanted but recently my hours have be increasing at work and I go to college on Tuesdays and Thursdays for most of the day. Apparently my boss likes how I work but I really don't work for the money since I don't need it all that badly. I work because overall its fun but its also good to have a day to do absoultely nothing! Bah sorry for the boring rant. :tongue:
 
Welcome to the club. My free time went from about 5 days a week to zero in about 10 months flat. So I feel ya on that one. If you don't have a baby I would suggest taking a little more time off, instead of working "for fun". That can really turn into a bad thing especially since your already ranting about it.
 
Haha well its for fun but we have been losing a lot of people at work lately. I would feel bad taking off when they are struggling to keep up with customers. One of the main reasons I work for fun is because a lot of the people I work with kickass and I don't want to make there lives harder for my own convience. So until we get more people I'm going to just have to live without freetime :tongue: . Feel better after ranting about it though.
 
Sooner or later you will tire of it. Eventually you'll have to think about yourself, you'll need a little spare time just to sit down and think or maybe not think at all. But sounds like you have a great job that pays good.
 
I wouldn't exactly call it a good paying job, I know I could get a better one easily, and my bosses know it too. I still have some freetime but I just notice my hours going up every few weeks. Compared to some people I have a lot of time to do my own things but I love having one day to do absolutely nothing, surf the internet, play some video games, watch some TV or just stare into the sky, but it always felt great and gave me something to look forward to. Now and days I have to look forward to days were I have work in the morning and the whole afternoon to myself.
 
Too much work sucks.

Too much freetime, after a while sucks. Trust me on both.

Ever since school started, I've been getting my homework done with ease. I live out in the middle of fucking nowhere and its hard to do stuff. Therefore I sit on my ass all day.

But I'm moving in a few weeks, and then I won't have any freetime. Its a bitch.

I guess you could say I enjoy work. It's the only time I get away from home where I don't have to deal with my wife, IF she's in a bitchy mood and I don't have to listen to my baby cry if she's cranky. So I guess I can understand that you actually enjoy working at some times. Personally I hate work but at the same time, it's a break from life at home, not to say I hate my homelife I just need a break every once in a while like your talking about.
 
Working at Arby's is fun, I contstantly make fun of my bosses, funny how much drama goes on too. The work isn't that hard and I'm good with dealing with people. Plus I get good food, free sodas, and I mess around a hell of a lot.
 
I work for Ford. My boss is my Dad so working in the office is cool. I get to talk shit to him all day and all the technicians here are cool as hell. We get here at 7 a.m. and don't start work till 8:00 or 8:30 and we stop work at 4:00 but we are really supposed to stop at 5:00. Then after we get everything cleaned up we all go to the back of the shop and drink beer for a couple hours everyday.
