Freedom Shields Windshield First Impression

I recieved a 7" dark grey tinted shield for my SG from John at Freedom Shields today. I'm 6' tall....it puts the wind over my helmet now. Best of all...it still looks "cool" and no more shaking glasses! Very good quality product, John is great to deal with, and the shipping is fast. It only took 7 days to get it to me in Canada.
 
Update on my purchase...

Tried the 9" and it was still a bit too short. Called John to get a swap arranged and it was no problem...John will show you what customer service is supposed to be about. He wraps each shield in protective plastic so you can test it out. As long as the plastic is still on the shield, he'll take it back in a snap. Had the new shield on my door step in 3 days.

I have the 10" light gray on my Street Glide now and it makes a world of difference. I'm 6' and have the stock saddle...I can see over the shield just fine and and the wind goes right over my head.

I have a large collection of shields from most of the makers to compare a new shield to. I had bought & tested a FS 8 Light Smoke for about 1000 miles when I wrote that on Jun 18.

After reading multiple positive comments on HDF & other boards, I talked to John at Freedom Shields about being a distributor for FS. I sold my first FS about July 1st.

In 9 yrs of owning Fast Aire, Freedom Shields is the first windshield Ive sold that I didnt design & have made under the Fast Aire name.

I stand by my statement... IMO, its the best made windshield out there.

I bought a 10" dark smoke for my 2010 FLHTK from Jim @ FastAire. I have bought from Jim before and he is a great vendor to do business with.
The 10" works well for me, really moves the air over my head and still can see over it.

I ordered an 8" light smoke Freedom Shield from Fastaire for my 2010 FLHTCU, and got great service...super fast shipping. The product is outstanding. I had a Clearview on my 07 RK, and this Freedom Shield's fit and finish is nicer, and the price is much better....not to mention the 2 months I waited for my Clearview.

I would definitely recommend Freedom Shields.
 
Just ordered the 10" light gray for my 2010 EGC. The stock shield is too tall for me with the lowered seat and it also has a lot of flex in it at highway speeds. Cant wait to try it.

I think you've sold me. I've been doing some research and I have not heard or seen ANYTHING bad about these. You hear of long wait times and tabs being broke off of others. I will go with this one
