Free text messaging

Can anyone tell me if u can have unlimited text messages or SMS messages without having to pay for them?

well all ur doin basically is replacing the "Operating system" or firmware of ur phone. i would go search around for it. doing that might not even let u get free text. but i have a friend who flashed his fone and was able to zoom in with his camera (apparently it wasn't allowed to in the american version) and get whole aim convos for the price of one message.

NEXTELs Text Messaging is run off the nexteldata.net server. You need to pay to have access to that server. There is also a way to do it using WebJal/Teknidude and Net Alerts, but it's not truly text messaging. Hunt around (not joking with you) http://www.iamslow.com for details.
