If your thinking about signing up to AOL for a free PS3 or laptop then I wouldn't bother.
They charged me for the postage twice and didn't refund. They set up an AOL talk account on my phone that I didn't order and on someone elses number that isn't even the same area code and their also sending me their bills! The playstation arrived yesterday (after 3 months and randomally cancelling the order twice for no reason). And it is the 40GB model that will only play PS3 games and not PS2!
I actually think the service is quite good. I get 7.5mbps out in the sticks, they don't block ports during offpeek hours and allow a generous 40GB per month transfer during peek times. Also the speed never drops and it's cheaper than almost any other ISP in the UK (apart from the real rubbish, Orange etc).
Why then with such a great network does the customer service stink worse than any other I have come accross, by a long shot, in all my life?
