how did you find out about these free tickets, if you don`t mind me asking?

its really good, free cinema tickets now the cinema is so expensive! went to london last week and it was
 
Went to see it using the tickets from seefilmfirst.com (great idea!) and it was a brilliant film, very funny and tragic too, Judy Dench is amazing and Will Young is in it quite a bit, not a great deal of dialogue from him but he comes across well and sings a lot.
 
One of the other members here posted the details for In her shoes which was showing in my city - so I printed the ticket and took my mum along - unfortunately this one wasn't showing down here - pity because my mum really wanted to see it, but I thought i'd share with you guys (and gals). I know someone else had trouble printing out the ticket but they texted and that worked fine.
 
They offered free tickets for MHP in the Telegraph from Cineworld, but our cinema on the Isle of Wight wasn't included. :confused:

However, there is an advanced showing tomorrow and Thursday so we are going then.

From all the reports Will is excellent. One of the broaRABheets (Guardian I think) said he was "underused", which ties in with what you said, spendleb
 
I saw the film this evening and I must say that it is brilliant. Dame Judi is outstanding and fully deserves an Oscar nomination. Bob Hoskins is more than a match for her.

Will Young has a much smaller role (as befits his debut film) but he is excellent and epitomises a 1940s song-and-dance man. THE scene is hilarious but if you blink you will miss it! :o Will's singing of All The Things You Are is absolutely rivetting - apparently he did it in only one take.

I will certainly go anc see it again.
 
Just saw this film today down at the Barbican. Wonderful! Really atmospheric, funny and tragic. Judi Dench was outstanding, as was Bob Hoskins - and Will Young was a pleasant surprise. Lovely to see Thelma Barlow (Mavis from Corrie) back on screen again. Do go and see it!
 
The film was premiered in LA last evening. I have seen some of the photos which are coming from Getty and Wire Image and everyone looks fantastic - especially Will and Kelly (who, incidentally, has dark hair now).

I hope the Americans like it.
