Free Preview of Superchannel HD on Bell TV

So it is over? I didn't get to see much of the free preview, but from what I did see, Super Channel is now somewhat competitive with TMN/MC. The have a few good movies (In Bruges, Juno) and some good series (Burn Notice, Sons of Anarchy). They also have Showtime boxing (though they need to get it in HD). They still have some catching up to do, but they're not that far behind anymore.

Does anyone know if Burn Notice is in Hd or just regular ? I cant seem to find that info anywhere. I see it listed in the SD on Bell but I cant find any listings for HD even when I look in unsubscribed.

I subscribed to TMN / HBO in early December but found myself finding more movies of interest on the Free preview Superchannel stations these past few weeks.

I thought the HBO add-on would be much better than it is. It seems to be more of an advertising gimmick than a true HBO station :(

Anyhow,
I may find myself switching over to Superchannel when their free preview ends. I admit there is a lot of crap on there as well but the movies there seem to be more appealing than what is currently on TMN.

This is the first I have ever heard of this - I would have thought "All" means "All", since I presume the major objective of having a guide with all channels one can potentially subscribe to is to actually show potential subscribers what they can potentially subscribe to. Put another way, I can't imagine there's any cheaper way for Bell to promote channels than to list them in the guide that their millions of customers view on a daily basis.

I agree that you never see all the channels in the guide unless you subscribe to them of course. In my case I never see the channel listed for Leafs TV nor for any of the NHL Centre Ice channels even when I have the ALL CHANNELS list displayed.

taxtwit, I agree with you that the word "all" should indeed mean "all" but in the wonderfull wierd world of Bell "all" means "something less than all". Don't forget these are the same people that use "Full HD" for the highly compressed HD Lite we experience, so if we are being honest, this should not be a surprise at "all".

I agree completely on this one....1 choice for HD plus MoviePixHD :( and don't even get me started with the new HBO "crap" channels. Unless you're into that specialty programming, and I'm NOT, there's nothing on, and now we've lost one more choice for a good movie to watch in the 300's :( , so now we have only 5 choices instead of 6.
