Free Preview of Superchannel HD on Bell TV

The channels are down for me this morning. Is the free preview over or is this just a sample of the service?
I wonder why it's gone off the All channels and all HD programing guide. I would think they would like to entice you to subscribe by showing you what your missing.
 
They are gone for me too, as of this morning. Not much publicity for such a long free preview.
 
Can't say that i ever had any interest in tuning into it. 1 less channel to clutter up the guide.
 
Just called bell tonight to ask about channel lost (free preview of schd 1 and 2)

Not appearing even in the guide.

Bell told me to let my unit up for at least two hours, and that he was going to hit or rehit (don't know what it is)

And to call back, if channel are not up again ! (kind of offer me free programming, after)
 
The re-synchronization on the website is free, it can only be done once per month.



Just because you go to "Show All" in the Guide you still do not see all the Channels.
 
Just chatted with Bell support. They told me preview ended in November 2008!! Told them I was getting these channels as late as Jan 17th 2009.

Pointed them to this thread but they said they rely only on Bell info. I told them that again the users new more about what was happening than the Bell reps and I stopped the chat.

What a complete and totally useless service desk Bell has!!
 
so have the free preview been extended until january 29th instead of the 19th? i am also missing the channels on my EPG.
 
My superchannels 1 and 2 have also disappeared, they were there around 8am, then a few hours later they were gone. I found out there was a Dead Like Me movie airing all january on superchannel, and wanted to set it to record, but its now almost 3am and their still not back yet. What gives?
 
Its down here again today. They must be in their retention mode ,they will only give you the free preview back if you call and complain. :)
 
At this point only the HD channels are available. Must be a Xmas treat from Bell TV.
 
It's not about free preview so much as it is the channels ceasing to exist, punching the numbers up to go to the channel take me to TMNHD.
 
It seems rather evident that the free preview of Superchannel is over. Not a big deal. Did record a few movies for future viewing. A little more concerned regarding the January 29th free preview expiry of several other channels. Not sure how that will affect subscribers.
 
Free for me too. I wonder if the uptake on Super Channel was so low that they are trying to capture a few more customers by tempting us over Xmas with the freebie.?
