To keep things private I'm not going to name the company name. I worked for a very big retailer company, and I was discharged from the company for violating a fraternization policy (aka supervisor/associate relationship). However in this policy I apparently violated it states that all the individuals involved would be discharged if they found evidence of it being true, after an investigation.. Well I was the only individual discharged and the other(s) were not. I filed unemployment in the state of Ohio and won my case. The company appealed, but the determination still came in my favor. I'm a male and the other individual(s) are female. The person who decided my discharge did interviews with everyone involved except for myself. This was a woman who decided my discharge. I feel she stuck up for the female(s) involved by not discharging them also. So I was discharged for violating a company policy that even the company itself did not follow. Do I have a possible lawsuit case against this company? And would this be considered discrimination? Thanks in advance.

Discrimination? It's a stretch. However, if you're not the first one to have been treated this way, then there's a pattern that can be shown, and a case can be made. Has this happened to any other men?

Assuming no other men have been discharged for fraternization (and women not discharged), then although you may have been treated differently from the woman (who wasn't discharged), you were still discharged legitimately. So, there's no damage that's been done to you.
