FREE LEECH - Post Here

So yeah, it's been a while since we last had Free Leech, right? Now, we think the same, but we don't want to give it out for free this time, this time you guys have to do something!

So what is the plan?
Well, pretty simple. As you all (should) know we just recently moved IRC servers and we wanted to test how good they are. So, the deal is as followed:

Free Leech will be initiated from the moment we will get 150 seperate individuals in our IRC channel. Free Leech will be dropped the moment less then 100 seperate individuals are residing in our channel.

So what are the IRC details?
Okay, you want to get on to IRC i guess. The details are as follows:

Server: irc.thedvdclub.org
Channel: #TheDVDClub

Hmmm.. yes. I think we are a pretty decent community with at least 5000 of us being active every week. So... how about Free Leech and Double Upload Ratio? Now, to get the Double Upload Ratio we think it's appropriate if more people get inside our channel. So... to get DUR: 400 seperate individuals in our channel and to keep DUR: 250 seperate individuals.

76 @tm, - 50% increase from yesterday, so it's a good chance...
 
TDC has freeleech and is open signups. No details on how long it will last.

Read the above post and in a similar vein Waffles currently has 79 freeleech torrents which can be found easily by putting this in the torrent search box and hitting return.

There might be an easier way that I dont know about. Seems this works.

K this is how ours is working, and it is on now, completely different from freeleech as you know it. (well it is not freeleech really)
1. No 20/1 seed/leech ratio on all torrents
2. no connectability check on SP system
3. No active time check on all torrents for SP system
4. double SP points (if you normally get 1, you get 2 etc)
5. Only torrent gets levelled and any download comes off your global ratio. sp does not credit you wil SP upload (on your global upload).

SCL as in SceneLeech? If so, they really should change their abbreviation.

* TTi and AceTorrents has freeleech on random torrents. TTi has Movie of the Day/Week which are always freeleech, and some amazing packs which are also freeleech.

* This thread should be STICKY'ed!
